1、 Cables are mainly copper conductors:
Conductors can be divided into bare copper, copper plating, copper clad steel, copper alloy, copper foil wire, etc.
Bare copper - low conductor resistance, easy oxidation, copper plating - enhanced oxidation resistance
Tinned copper - enhanced oxidation resistance, easy for subsequent welding, silver plated copper - strong conductivity, high price, mostly used for RF cables and fluoroplastic high temperature wires
Copper clad steel --- high strength, commonly used for overhead cables
Copper alloy --- high strength (a small amount of other metals are added to copper)
Copper foil wire --- strong bending resistance and high flexibility (copper is pressed into thin sheets and wrapped on elastic fibers)
In order to improve the strength of conductors, multiple copper} wires are usually twisted
2、 Cable insulator:
Common insulating materials include PVC (polyvinyl chloride), sr-pvc (semi-rigid PVC), PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene), Foam PE, Foam PE + skin, etc., as well as Z new magnesium oxide (MI) mineral insulator.
3、 Type of fireproof cable:
Yttw -- the outer surface of the fireproof cable is welded with copper strip, the inner cable core insulation is wrapped with fire-resistant mica tape, and the Z-shaped cable is made of glass fiber or other fire-resistant fillers.
Bbtrz -- the fireproof cable has the same structure as the above, that is, the fire-resistant mica tape is replaced by ceramic silicone rubber tape. I don't know which of the two cables with different insulation is better.
Ng-a -- the outer sheath of fire-proof cable is made of aluminum, that is, the longitudinal package welding rolling grain of copper strip has changed into the longitudinal package welding rolling grain of aluminum strip, and the inner cable core may be wound with several layers of fire-resistant insulating tape.
Btly - the external protection of the fireproof cable adopts continuous extrusion aluminum tube, and the protection of the inner cable core is also continuous extrusion coated aluminum tube. The aluminum tube protection inside and outside the cable is smooth rod without rolling grain. The bending performance of this cable must be a flexible fireproof cable without longitudinal package welding and rolling grain.
Bttz - mineral insulated cable, also known as magnesium oxide cable, this cable should be a cable with good fire resistance, but the production process is very complex, mainly because the filling of magnesium oxide powder is difficult, and the equipment for producing this cable can not be made in China, which mainly depends on the introduction of advanced technology and equipment.
