IEC 60320 AC power cord connector is a set of two-pole connector standards for AC circuits developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). There are two types with or without ground wire. It is suitable for circuits with a maximum rated AC voltage of 250V and a maximum rated AC current of 16A. It is mainly used for the connection between 50Hz or 60Hz power supplies and electrical appliances and electrical equipment.
This standard defines 13 different types of IEC power connectors, each of which is identified by the letter "C" plus a number. Among them, odd-numbered ones such as C1, C13, etc. are female sockets, and even-numbered ones such as C2, C14, etc. are male plugs.
