What Are The Advantages Of BV Cable?

Bv wire, commonly known as plastic hard wire, its full name is copper core polyethylene insulated cloth wire. B means the type is cloth wire, and V means the insulation layer is polyethylene. It is suitable for power systems with AC current of 450/750v and below, daily high-power electrical appliances, instrument panels and communication products.
1、 Classification of BV wires
Bv wires are classified according to their characteristics: they have two functions: flame retardancy and fire safety. English alphabetic data are zc-bv and n-bv respectively, and the application fields are as follows:
Zc-bv: copper core high-voltage polyethylene insulated wire: environmental friendly flame retardant is added to the insulating material, which is not easy to catch fire when leaving. Flame retardant bv series products are divided into three levels: A, B and C. among them, class a flame retardant level is good, and so on. Zc-bv is commonly used.
N-bv: copper core high-voltage polyethylene cable sheathed mineral insulated cable: it can be used normally under any normal fire accident standard.
2、 Advantages of BV wire
BV is a general single core hard wire for interior decoration and lighting. In addition to cost-effectiveness, it also has the following two advantages:
1. It's strong
In home decoration, the larger external force of cable is resistance to tension and pressure. In terms of tensile strength, a single copper core wire is stronger - in all processes of drawing and extrusion, the copper core wire is very easy to break, resulting in the reduction of cable ampacity - a very thin copper core wire with a diameter of 0.41mm
2. The wire has large current carrying capacity
In the distribution lines with short-circuit fault, low frequency, low voltage and small amount of current (skin effect is not considered), the cable ampacity of single copper core cable exceeds that of multi copper core cable. PS: if the skin effect is taken into account, the cable ampacity of multi-core transmission lines may be higher - this is also the reason why no single transmission line in the cable exceeds 10mm.
