The Difference Between BV Cable And BVR Cable

Bv wire is a hard single core wire, and BVR is a soft multi-core wire. The working current borne by the same range is the same.

2. Bv wire is a fixed line with a single electric conductor and cable sheath, while BVR wire is a fixed line with multiple stranded electric conductors and cable sheath, which is mainly suitable for places where wires are specified to be soft.

In indoor decoration, water and electricity decoration are all concealed works of decoration, and the concealed wires cannot be replaced freely, so the selection of wires immediately affects the safe use of electricity in the future.

1、 Disadvantages and advantages of wire "bv" and "BVR":

1. Bv advantage: due to the hard wire, long service life, it is not easy to be oxidized by air, and it is generally used in concealed works of decoration. Defect: the transmission line cannot be straightened after bending, and it is easy to be injured after repeated bending and straightening for several times.

2. BVR (also known as secondary line): advantages: the line is relatively soft, which is often used in temporary power supply sites. The demand for laying perspective is greatly reduced, and it is suitable to turn and thread the conduit. Defects: the application cycle is short, the air oxidation speed is faster, and it is very easy to break the core and some parts are hot, which need to be replaced on time.

3. BV is a single copper core high-voltage polyethylene wire, and BVR is a multi-core high-voltage polyethylene wire, one of which is hard and the other is loose. However, BVR has a larger cable carrying capacity than bv under the same section, which is more suitable for screw riveted connection, and the project cost is higher.

4. If BVR is connected, that is, two wires are connected, it is not as convenient as bv wire. BV is OK, but BVR wire cores are more and thinner, so it is necessary to heat solder wire after stranding. Therefore, BVR wire is good. But now most household decoration uses bv wire, and the engineering construction is convenient and fast. It is good to install wires and connect wires.

The processing technology of BV hard copper core cable is different from that of BVR soft copper core cable. Generally, hard wire is used in most home decoration. If the capital situation is available, it will be better to use soft wire.
