Difference Between RVV And BVV

The types of sheathed wires are generally divided into BVV wire and RVV wire. B: refers to cloth wire, R: refers to flexible wire and soft structure, and V: PVC sheath in plastic.

In fact, the two kinds of wires are essentially the same and belong to sheathed wires, but if they are separated, they will be different in category and structure. For example, BVV wire belongs to hard sheathed wire and RVV wire belongs to soft sheathed wire.

What is the difference in category between BVV line and RVV line?

Full name of BVV cable: copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed round sheathed wire, also known as light PVC sheathed cable, commonly known as hard sheathed wire, is a kind of sheathed wire.

Full name of RVV cable: light copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable, also known as light PVC sheathed flexible wire, commonly known as soft sheathed wire, is a kind of sheathed wire.

What are the structural differences between BVV line and RVV line?

(1) BVV wire is a single copper wire with large section inside, and RVV wire is a single copper wire with small section inside. For example, they are 2 * 1.5 sheaths;

(2) The BVV inner core is a single copper wire BVV, with 2 inner cores, the section of each inner core is 1.5, and each inner core is a copper wire with a diameter of 1.38;

RVV inner core is composed of many small filaments. Rvv2 inner cores have a section of 1.5, but each inner core is composed of 30 copper wires with a diameter of 0.25mm. Therefore, BVV is harder than RVV;

(3) RVV is applied to power lines, control lines and signal transmission lines for electrical appliances, instruments and electronic equipment and automatic generation devices. Specifically, it can be used for the control and installation of anti-theft alarm system, building intercom system, instruments, instruments, monitoring, etc;

BVV hard sheathed wire is applicable to cables and wires for power plants, daily appliances, instruments and telecommunications equipment with AC voltage of 450 / 750V and below, as well as exposed wires.
