Material

Structure of PV Array Cable
Conductor: High-purity tinned copper wire is used, and the tin-plated layer protects the copper wire from oxidation and sulfide.
Insulation: Use cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
Outer sheath: Made of a special blend of ultraviolet (UV) and ozone-resistant materials, usually weather-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyurethane (PUR).
Single and multi-core designs
Depending on application requirements, PV array cables can be single-core or multi-core designs. Single-core cables are used for simple connections, while multi-core cables are suitable for complex system wiring, providing more flexible installation options and suitable for large-scale photovoltaic power plants.
